El propósito del artículo es precisar y analizar el proceso de construcción, desarrollo y consolidación de la premisa social de verdad que incorporó el género informativo, bajo la influencia de las principales corrientes epistemológicas anglosajonas, como el positivismo, el empirismo lógico y la revolución postempirista. En consecuencia, la incorporación del método de raíz positivista, ya sea como forma de producción/distribución, o como modo de validación, hizo posible la supervivencia del fetiche de un periodismo “imparcial y verdadero”, desde comienzos del siglo XX hasta la actualidad. La investigación liga vínculos que permiten rastrear, desde una visión crítica, los componentes teóricos y prácticos del engranaje pseudocientífico que se esconden detrás de la ambición de un discurso hegemónico y la construcción de poder mediante la creación y el mantenimiento de relatos irrefutables. También se ocupa de revelar que la anhelada objetividad noticiosa, es reproducida no sólo por las redacciones de los medios de comunicación, sino también por muchos de los ámbitos de Educación Superior de periodismo y comunicación. Así veremos como la "verdad" se construye y circula en lo público (el Estado) y en lo privado (el mercado) casi sin contradicciones, filtrando los intereses del poder en los intersticios de la vida social. The purpose of the article is to specify and analyze the process of construction, development and consolidation of the real social premise that incorporated the informative sort, under the influence of epistemology Anglo-Saxon currents, like the positivism, the logical empiricism and the postempirical revolution. Consequently, the incorporation of the positivist root method, as (a) form of production/distribution, or like a validation way, made the survival of the fetish of "an impartial and true" journalism possible, from the beginnings of the twentieth century to the present time. The investigation binds bonds that allow to rake, from a critical vision, the theoretical and practical components of the pseudoscientific gear that hide behind the ambition of an hegemonic speech and the construction of being able by means of the creation and the maintenance of irrefutable stories. It also reveals that the wished objectivity is reproduced not only by the mass media writings but also by the Higher Education scopes of journalism and communication. We will see how the "truth" is constructed and circulates among the public space (the State) and the private place (the market) almost without contradictions, leaking the interests of the power in the interstices of social life. |
