Adopting the perspective that the tradition represented by the historical events is transferred from the relationship between individuals in direction to the sphere of media, the way that the press uses history to explain the news should reveal some forms that the past (and the present itself) has its meaning changed. This paper proposes the study of the meaning production made by the historical happenings in the news at the revues Veja, Época, Carta Capital e IstoÉ and by the reshaping of memory concerned to the journalistic narratives and the inventories of discourse.
Se adotarmos a perspectiva de que a tradição representada pelos dados históricos é deslocada da inter-relação entre os indivíduos e passa a ser gerida em uma esfera midiatizada, a forma como a imprensa utiliza a História para explicar as notícias da atualidade revelaria uma dinâmica da forma como o passado (e o próprio presente) pode ser re-significado. Este trabalho propõe o estudo da produção de sentido feita pela veiculação destes dados nas revistas Veja, Época, Carta Capital e IstoÉ e dos enquadramentos de memória operados por elas no que concerne às narrativas jornalísticas mobilizadas e aos inventários de discursos mediados. |
